Predatory Open Access Journals

From The Chronicle of Higher Education, this article discusses the growing number of predatory open access journals that lure those who are eager to publish (ie. graduate students, newer faculty, etc).

Abusing the author-fees model, these publishers’ goal is to generate profit, and some people have found themselves in difficult situations because of it.
